Give As You Earn (GAYE) or Payroll Giving is a simple way for you to give regularly to the St Patrick’s Trust and receive tax relief on the amount chosen. There are no limits on how much or how little you can give. It is entirely up to you.
To set-up GAYE, you simply authorise your employer to deduct your gift directly from your pay; this is usually through your Human Resources or Payroll departments. Every month your employer pays it over to a Payroll Giving agency approved by the Inland Revenue. The agency then distributes the money to the St Patrick’s Trust.
Because your employer deducts your donation from your pay or pension before Income Tax is applied, you only pay tax on the remaining amount. This means that we receive every penny you donate and you receive tax relief at your highest rate of tax. For example:

Many employers also operate a donation-matching scheme, which doubles the size of your gift. Please check with your employer to see if they offer this scheme.
