The Lorica St Patrick's Hostel is a modern, four storey purpose-built facility, erected within the main body of St Patrick's Church and accommodates 29 male and female residents. The focus of the Hostel is to provide the residents with secure 24/7 supported accommodation and to enable each person to work towards resettlement into more permanent and independent housing.
Hostels are a vital component of the Support Pathway for people facing the crisis of homelessness. Our Hostel comprises five self-contained flats with private bedrooms and communal kitchen/living rooms. Each resident is assigned a Key Worker, with whom they meet to discuss their current situation, their personal concerns and their aspirations for the future. These elements go towards devising individual Support Plans to ensure focus on specific and achievable goals, such as gaining further life skills and/or education.

This is a challenging environment for both the residents and Lorica St Patrick's as we attempt to celebrate the successes while acknowledging the struggles we experience along the way.
