Another key element of the Support Pathway is having move-on houses in the City. Lorica St Patrick's manages three houses, two in Brighton and one in Hove, providing homes for 19 men and women.
Our move-on houses offer semi-independent accommodation where each person, requiring a low level of support, is able to live away from a 24/7 supported housing environment while still meeting regularly with their Key Workers to discuss progress against their Support Plans and raise any issues.
This Lorica St Patrick's scheme is known within our organisation as Phase 3, which was the project name we used when we embarked on the initiative. Our Nightshelter was the first phase of our development, the Hostel was the second and these houses were the third. It was so much easier to refer to the scheme as Phase 3 at the time and the name just stuck!

The over-arching aim for each person currently housed by Lorica St Patrick's is to enable the final move on to full independence; a place of one's own and hopefully with the self-confidence, courage and skills needed to stay safely off the streets for good.
